Australian Bengali Library Inc. is a non profit organisation, provides library services to the Bengali community and other organisation in Australia.  The library is reviving a long-lasting need of Bengali literature and recreational resources for 1st and 2nd generation of Bengali people who are living in this multicultural society.

The library offers free membership and delivery /postal service* any where in Australia, there are 9 delivery points within New South Wales, members can collect and return library resources at their convenience. The library is proactively supporting other libraries and organisations in terms of community development.

Munir Hosain - Library Manager
Currently Munir Hosain is working as an Intelligence Analyst. Previously worked as a librarian and record management personnel for several government, non-government organizations in Australia. In 2002 became an Associate member of ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association). Holds graduate and post graduate degrees in Library & Information Science from Dhaka University, Post Graduate Diploma in Library & Information Management from University of Canberra.

Bushra Khanum - Librarian
Currently working at Waverly Library and Ryde Library. Worked for United International University as a Lecturer and holds a post graduate degree in Information Systems.

Mustarin Shuvra - Library Administration
Mustarin Shuvra is a well-known singer in Australian Bengali community. Also holds Graduate degree in Political Science and Diploma in Business Management; currently studying Information Management at Edith Cowan University. She has been contributing in several Bengali cultural organizations in Australia.

Emrul Ahmad - Business coordinator
Business Banker for National Australia Bank (NAB). Worked for Grameen Bank as a Financial Analyst and holds an MBA majoring in Finance.

Dinangkur Kundu - Webmaster
Working as freelance web developer and record management personnel. Worked for Quantumcloud as Chief Technical Officer - one of the top most outsourcing company in Bangladesh. To know more about him visit his blog.

Dr. Tanveer Ahmed - Projects coordinator
Dr Tanveer Ahmed is a psychiatry registrar and writer. He has previously worked as an SBS television journalist and is a contributor to the major broadsheets. He is the mental health expert for Men's Health magazine. He also performs comedy and was a dual state finalist in the ABC JJJ Raw Comedy contest. In 2006, he was chosen by a Prime Minister's Committee as one of 100 future leaders of Australia, under the age of 40, to attend the inaugural Australia's Future Forum. He is currently writing his first book with the ABC - a comic look at Muslim life in Australia. He is an appointee to the Advertising Standards Board and the Board of the Australian Medical Association Ltd - where he is the representative for training doctors.
